The Strike Tiger trout frog is a small 1.5 inch (40 mm) soft plastic lure. It weighs approximately 3 grams when assembled, providing enough casting weight. Each frog comes complete with a kit containing a quality hook, orange attractor bead, and 6 poly floatation beads which are inserted into the frog cavity. The frog is easily assembled by following the instructions provided. No jigheads are required with this floating lure. When assembled correctly, the supplied hook will naturally suspend below the surface to maximise hookups. The frog can be cast and fished static on the surface (no movement) or very slow twitches can be used to retrieve it. Best of all, these little guys are re-useable!
